Mr Bhatt has been instrumental in the development of international education in China for about twelve years and has been involved in the early developments of some of the key public schools offering international programs across China. He was the founding principal of the International Centre of the Beijing Renda Fuzhong and Nanjing Jinling High School. In his eighteen years of teaching and learning career, his five years with Luhe International Academy (BLIA) have been full of learning, innovation and change – the three characteristics that define an evolving organisation. He believes BLIA is a progressive school with a promising future. His research interests include international education in China, Chinese and western leadership in education, philosophy of followership, and the use of parables in the development of leaders and followers.

教師 Nicholas BrightBA (Hons) Mathematics, New College, Oxford University Nick is a lover of Mathematics who has enjoyed teaching the subject in a wide variety of schools and colleges in a wide range of locations. He initially worked as a Banker in the City of London for four years, before leaving to learn how to teach in the UK independent sector. Over the past twenty years his achievements include helping to set up one of the first Special Needs Schools in Cairo, running the Maths department at the Academy founded by the President of Malawi, being the Head of Mathematics at Sixth Form colleges in Shanghai and Qingdao and being the only male teacher at an all-girls school in Kuwait. Outside the classroom, Nick has been a residential tutor in boys boarding houses and he has assisted British and foreign students as they prepare to apply to English and Scottish universities; he is also a keen cross-country runner and coach.
