This degree offers you a high level of performance development, combining a focus on developing your solo performance skills in singing and/or playing, and a complementary set of skills as an ensemble performer. It is one of the largest and liveliest in the UK. We focus on music as an applied art, one that engages with the musical world in all its diversity and excitement. We understand the importance of ensuring that you’ve the knowledge, skills and experience to compete successfully in today’s challenging jobs market. Our commitment is to make sure that students and graduates from all disciplines that register on the programme, and successfully complete the necessary preparation, have the opportunity to apply for internships.
