The MSc in Conservative Dentistry is an intensive clinical, academic and research programme across the disciplines of fixed prosthodontics, implant dentistry, operative dentistry and endodontics. It is offered as a one-year, full-time course (or two-year, part time programme for specialist registrars (StRs)). Students will gain theoretical and practical experience in the conservative restoration of cases ranging from a single missing tooth to full mouth rehabilitation, utilising either tooth or implant-supported restorations. Graduates can confidently manage the treatment needs of patients in a holistic and comprehensive manner. Graduates have the ability to critically think and appraise literature, be capable of problem solving and develop an attitude of life-long learning.

The programme is recommended for dental professionals wanting to extend their knowledge and develop their clinical skills in advanced and complex restorative treatment. Career trajectories of recent graduates include private practice, continuation onto specialty training (in Prosthodontics), specialty doctor (in hospital-based positions) and specialist registrar training.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students need to have Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall average mark of 85% for courses requiring Upper second-class (2:1) degree. For courses requiring Lower second-class (2:2) degree, they need to have a minimum overall average mark of 80%. Some programmes / departments will require higher marks.
